If you would like to get some ground goat for burgers, please contact us because we are currently out of ground goat. But we do have a good selection of ribs, chops, and steaks. Find us at the Virginia Mason Farmers Market on Fridays from 11am to 3pm at the Lindeman Pavilion Patio on Seneca street between 9th and Terry Avenues this summer. The easiest way to try goat meat is here! We finally have frozen USDA cuts for sale. We are participating in the Virginia Mason Farmers Market 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays through August 30 (with the exception of August 16th). Please stop by and see us! If you can’t make it to the market, contact us to make an appointment to visit the farm and buy direct.
The goats have been working hard all summer eating blackberries and weeds around the farm and in the local neighborhood. And we have been blessed with a wonderfully dry late summer and early fall!
We have a handful of does due to kid in November and the rest in December. We still have a couple of doelings for sale that were born in February. We are also looking to sell our buck “Curly” so we can start upgrading to a registered herd. This is a great chance for you to get started raising some goats for meat or brush eating. If you are interested in purchasing a pregnant doe or one of the doelings, please contact us!
